Le Sherry Cask Finish de Stranahan est un whisky single malt américain de 4 ans qui est vieilli pendant quatre ans dans de nouveaux fûts de chêne blanc américain, vieilli pendant une période supplémentaire (qu'ils n'ont pas partagée) dans Oloroso de 40 ans fûts de xérès de la région d'Andalousie en Espagne. Les fûts de finition provenaient de l'Andalousie, dans le sud de l'Espagne, où ils vieillissaient le vin pendant plus de 40 ans, laissant une profondeur de saveur imbibée dans les anciennes douelles de chêne.
Les single malts américains ont des saveurs intenses et audacieuses en comparaison et une grande partie provient des fûts nouvellement carbonisés utilisés pour vieillir le nouveau whisky (les écossais utilisent d'anciens fûts de bourbon, qui auront déjà eu plusieurs années de saveur extraite par bourbon).
Ainsi, le maître distillateur de Stranahan, Rob Dietrich, qui expérimente continuellement de nouvelles expressions du single malt américain et des finitions de fûts uniques, a décidé d'utiliser ces fûts usés pour extraire suffisamment de saveur pour avoir un impact sur le whisky. Le whisky qui en résulte est un puits de saveurs sans fin. Au début, c'est riche et dessert: des tonnes de notes de tarte aux cerises, des raisins secs, avec des noix et un soupçon de cuir résonnant en arrière-plan. À la fin, il est sirupeux, chaud et sucré, avec des notes de cassonade, de caramel et de caramel.
Si vous êtes fan de la marque Stranahan (vous devriez l'être), vous remarquerez qu'il s'agit essentiellement d'un whisky Diamond Peak fini au sherry.

Arôme : une étendue de cerise trop mûre, de pomme sucrée, de raisins secs, d'amandes, de cuir et de foin fraîchement coupé
Bouche : Miel, cerises Montmorency, cassis et figue, avec une saumure de noisette et des caractéristiques de noix
Finition : caramel au beurre, crème fouettée, cassonade et poivre de Cayenne fumé

Delivery
2.1. For Whiskey Lovers offers delivery services to specified locations that we are legally eligible to ship to. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and other factors. We will provide an estimated delivery time-frame, but we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates or times.
2.2. You acknowledge that the delivery of alcoholic beverages requires the recipient to be of legal drinking age. Our delivery personnel may request proof of age upon delivery. If the recipient is unable to provide valid identification, the delivery will not be completed, and the products will be returned to For Whiskey Lovers.
2.3. Delivery fees and any applicable taxes or duties will be added to the total order amount. These charges will be clearly displayed during the checkout process.
2.4. For Whiskey Lovers operates within the legal framework of the jurisdiction in which it operates. Returns and Refunds
3.1. For Whiskey Lovers takes great care in packaging and delivering your order to ensure its quality and condition. In the event that you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect products, please contact our customer support within seven (7) days of delivery to request a return or exchange.
3.2. Refunds or replacements will be processed at For Whiskey Lovers' discretion after evaluating the nature of the issue. We may request additional information or photographic evidence to facilitate the return process.
3.3. For Whiskey Lovers reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds for reasons including but not limited to a change of mind, personal taste preference, or improper storage of the products after delivery.
3.4. For Whiskey Lovers does not offer refunds or returns on international shipments.
