Sheep Dip, malgré son nom iconoclaste, est un vrai grand whisky. Le nom est né parce que les agriculteurs britanniques ont longtemps appelé le whisky Sheep Dip. Il fut un temps où les fermiers distillaient leur propre whisky "fait maison" et afin d'éviter de payer des impôts au fisc cachaient le whisky dans des fûts marqués "Sheep Dip". Les marchands fermiers ont poursuivi cette tradition en inscrivant des caisses de whisky comme "trempage de mouton" sur les factures des fermiers et ainsi "tirant la laine" sur les yeux des femmes des fermiers. Jim Murray décrit Sheep Dip dans sa Whisky Bible de 2006 comme « Jeune et vif comme un agneau nouveau-né, il bénéficie d'un style herbacé frais et appétissant avec une touche d'épice. Décrié par certains, mais pour moi une cuvaison ingénieuse et accomplie d'une complexité séduisante » Richard Paterson, célèbre et unique maître-assembleur de troisième génération en Écosse, a créé la « cuvaison » Sheep Dip en mariant plusieurs whiskies single malt. Les whiskies sont vieillis entre huit et douze ans dans du bois de premier remplissage de qualité, chacun ajoutant des caractéristiques uniques pour produire un produit exceptionnel. Témoignage en effet que, malgré la mythologie qui s'est développée autour du whisky, en réalité un grand whisky ne doit pas nécessairement être le produit d'une distillerie, ni son âge être une mesure de qualité.

Couleur : riches reflets cuivrés dorés.
Nez : délicat et raffiné. Des notes florales douces et sensuelles apparaissent en parfaite harmonie soutenues par une gamme attrayante de saveurs de fruits complexes. Melon, poire et orange avec une pointe d'amande concluent cette profusion de nuances charmantes.
Goût : La finesse et l'élégance cèdent la place à une affirmation majestueuse de saveurs maltées pures tirées des quatre régions distillatrices d'Écosse. Chaque région forge et apporte sa propre contribution inimitable à ce pur malt exceptionnel - l'accent principal étant exprimé par les Highlands et les vallées du Speyside.

Delivery

2.2. You acknowledge that the delivery of alcoholic beverages requires the recipient to be of legal drinking age. Our delivery personnel may request proof of age upon delivery. If the recipient is unable to provide valid identification, the delivery will not be completed, and the products will be returned to For Whiskey Lovers.

Returns and Refunds
3.1. For Whiskey Lovers takes great care in packaging and delivering your order to ensure its quality and condition. In the event that you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect products, please contact our customer support within seven (7) days of delivery to request a return or exchange.
3.2. Refunds or replacements will be processed at For Whiskey Lovers' discretion after evaluating the nature of the issue. We may request additional information or photographic evidence to facilitate the return process.
3.3. For Whiskey Lovers reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds for reasons including but not limited to a change of mind, personal taste preference, or improper storage of the products after delivery.
3.4. For Whiskey Lovers does not offer refunds or returns on international shipments.
