Knappogue Castle Twin Wood 14 ans s'inscrit dans la grande tradition de notre château de Knappogue vieilli en fût de sherry 1951, le whisky irlandais connu le plus ancien et le plus rare.
L'orge maltée est séchée dans des fours sans utiliser de tourbe, ce qui permet à la saveur nette et propre de l'orge maltée de se manifester sans accents fumés. Le malt séché est ensuite broyé et mélangé à de l'eau de source irlandaise pure pour en extraire les sucres. Les whiskies single malt du château de Knappogue sont distillés trois fois dans des alambics traditionnels en cuivre en forme d'oignon. L'alcool est ensuite placé dans des fûts de chêne, autrefois utilisés pour le bourbon, stocké à une température relativement constante et vieilli.
Après plus de 14 ans dans des fûts de bourbon, le whisky pour 14 ans Twin Wood a été sélectionné par le maître distillateur pour être marié avec plus de single malt irlandais - cette fois vieilli dans des fûts spécialement infusés pour le château de Knappogue avec Oloroso Sherry.
Le délicat processus de distillation, associé au climat irlandais humide et tempéré et au vieillissement spécial en fûts de bourbon et de sherry, a donné la saveur distinctive du Knappogue Castle 14 Year Old Twin Wood. L'utilisation de deux types de fûts en bois dans Twin Wood a produit un whisky au goût profond, complexe et très doux.
Knappogue Castle 14 ans Twin Wood n'est pas filtré à froid et, contrairement à de nombreux whiskies, aucun colorant n'est ajouté.
Notes de dégustation :
Nez : Le caractère typique de fruits du verger/tarte aux pommes du malt est renforcé par l'utilisation de fûts de Sherry Oloroso, sous la forme de fruits charnus - prunes et abricots. L'influence du fût de bourbon apparaît comme une douce note vanillée qui s'harmonise avec l'arôme biscuité de l'orge.
Goût : le nez laisse présager une véritable gorgée de saveurs, et cela se poursuit. Le corps est riche et fruité; avec des notes de pomme verte avec le zeste de pamplemousse . Le malt aide à faire ressortir la qualité du bois : vanille douce avec des tanins légers du chêne carbonisé.
Finition : de longueur moyenne ; allant de notes fruitées pleines à une conclusion d'orge sèche mais agréable.

Delivery

Returns and Refunds
3.1. For Whiskey Lovers takes great care in packaging and delivering your order to ensure its quality and condition. In the event that you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect products, please contact our customer support within seven (7) days of delivery to request a return or exchange.
3.2. Refunds or replacements will be processed at For Whiskey Lovers' discretion after evaluating the nature of the issue. We may request additional information or photographic evidence to facilitate the return process.
