En 1794, Alexander Hamilton écrivait dans le Federalist Paper #12 qu'une taxe sur le whisky "devrait tendre à en diminuer la consommation", et qu'"un tel effet serait également favorable à l'agriculture, à l'économie, à la morale , et à la santé de la société. Au cours de la rébellion du whisky qui a suivi, les collecteurs d'impôts étaient goudronnés, fouettés et emplumés.
Not a King Whiskey est un clin d'œil à la recette originale de whisky de seigle de George Washington. Le seigle occupe le devant de la scène, le maïs servant de grain secondaire dans la facture de purée. Au premier versement, des notes de miel explosent du verre et un corps crémeux et beurré enrobe la langue. Au fur et à mesure que le whisky s'ouvre en bouche, des saveurs de pierre, de fruits, d'écorce d'orange et d'abricot brillent. La finale est longue et douce avec une subtile fumée.
Notes de dégustation* :
Couleur : couleur cannelle ; très bonne clarté.
Arôme : un piquant vif au premier nez qui évolue vers le pain de seigle aux graines (carvi) et le cuir de selle neuf ; plus d'aération aide à développer des parfums plus profonds de craquelins de seigle (Ryvita), de pain de seigle, de poivre noir moulu.
Goût : plus doux, plus ressemblant à de la sève et résineux que le bouquet et devient étonnamment semblable à l'érable juste avant le milieu de bouche ; le milieu de bouche est caramélisé, succulent, grillé, de l'érable partout et fabuleusement savoureux.
Finale : longue, résineuse / boisée, riche en texture, un peu piquante côté alcool, mais gourmande et crémeuse. Une réalisation exceptionnelle pour ce distillateur du Michigan.

Delivery

If the recipient is unable to provide valid identification, the delivery will not be completed, and the products will be returned to For Whiskey Lovers.

Returns and Refunds
3.1. For Whiskey Lovers takes great care in packaging and delivering your order to ensure its quality and condition. In the event that you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect products, please contact our customer support within seven (7) days of delivery to request a return or exchange.
3.2. Refunds or replacements will be processed at For Whiskey Lovers' discretion after evaluating the nature of the issue. We may request additional information or photographic evidence to facilitate the return process.
