L'inspiration pour High Wests Campfire Whiskey est venue un matin du propriétaire de la distillerie Jim Perkins au B&B de la distillerie Bruichladdich, quand lui et sa femme ont senti de la tourbe dans l'air - les grandes dames qui ont fait nos repas mijotaient une bouteille de whisky tourbé et le sucre ! Plus tard dans la nuit, ils ont sorti un dessert de miellat mûr arrosé de sirop tourbé. Ce fut la fin la plus inhabituelle, délicieuse et mémorable d'un dîner que Perkins ait jamais connu.
La combinaison de melon et de fumée douce a vraiment fonctionné - donc (naturellement...) il s'est dit pourquoi ne pas mélanger du bourbon doux et de la tourbe ? La saveur principale (ou mélodie) est le miel sucré d'un bourbon mûr. La saveur (ou l'harmonie) rehaussante est l'épice fruitée florale d'un whisky de seigle mature. L'accent (la voix rocailleuse de Satchmo !) est la fumée d'un scotch whisky tourbé.
Détails techniques
Sweet : un whisky pur bourbon composé à 75 % de maïs, 20 % de seigle et 5 % de malt d'orge.
Épicé et floral : Un pur whisky de seigle composé à 95 % de seigle et à 5 % de malt d'orge.
Smoky : un blended malt Scotch whisky, composé à 100 % de malt d'orge qui a été tourbé.
Âge des whiskies : tous ont 5 ans ou plus.
Origine des whiskies ? Le bourbon et le seigle proviennent de l'ancienne usine Seagrams dans l'Indiana.
Notes de dégustation High West Whiskey Campfire :
Nez : Floral, fruité, brillant et épicé. Caramel et caramel au beurre. Fumée légère et bois fumant d'un feu de camp le lendemain matin. Jasmin, thé chai, bois de santal, cuir, tabac, résine de pin et pain grillé.
Goût : Vanille, miel, caramel avec quelques beaux fruits, myrtilles et cerises noires. Épices Chai - muscade, cannelle et zeste d'orange. Caramels salés. Le tabac. Douce fumée !
Finale : Longue, douce, épicée et fumée !

Returns and Refunds
3.1. For Whiskey Lovers takes great care in packaging and delivering your order to ensure its quality and condition. In the event that you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect products, please contact our customer support within seven (7) days of delivery to request a return or exchange.
