Ce single malt tourbé des Highlands s'ouvre sur de riches arômes de feu de camp d'été et des notes de zeste d'agrumes vif. En bouche, il est plein de fruits cuits au four et de biscuits, avec des notes de tire salée et de gingembre, soutenues par une fumée persistante tout au long.Torfa est le vieux norrois pour «tourbe», et ce Scotch tient cette promesse avec délicatesse et finesse. Or clair dans le verre, le nez montre un arôme de vanille teinté de fumée tourbée et d'accents de chêne. La bouche est brillante et saumâtre à l'attaque, avec un caractère de fumée tourbée de plus en plus prononcé à chaque gorgée successive. Cet équilibre fumé-salin provoque des envies d'huîtres et de fromages affinés. La couleur jaune pâle de ce single malt contredit les arômes sombres et chocolatés qui se dégagent du verre. Vif et brillant en bouche, il est tout en poivre et fruité. Tourbé et malté avec une finale longue et savoureuse. Couleur : Or jaune brillant. Bouche : Une douce fumée de tourbe côtière éloquente engloutit des écorces confites sur du melon, de l'ananas et des pommes rouges rôties. Des biscuits à l'avoine, des notes de miel de bruyère et une douce épice de boîte à cigares se combinent pour donner un équilibre formidable au caractère fumé expressif.
