Après avoir servi pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, Clyde May est retourné en Alabama pour cultiver sa terre et élever une famille. Bien que Clyde ait élevé huit enfants, ses efforts agricoles n'ont pas été aussi fructueux. Suivant les traces bien usées de beaucoup d'autres avant lui, il s'est tourné vers le commerce illégal de la fabrication de whisky, ou "l'agriculture de branche" comme il aimait l'appeler, pour compléter ses revenus.
May a vendu une grande partie de son whisky non vieilli, directement à l'alambic, mais il en a mis une partie en fûts. Travaillant en petits lots et avec une attention particulière aux détails, Clyde a produit un whisky chaud et ambré contenant un soupçon de pommes. Dans le sud profond, il reste des gens qui gardent encore des bouteilles non marquées de la réserve spéciale de M. Clyde rangées aussi soigneusement que des Bibles de famille et de précieuses photographies.
Il a passé une grande partie de sa vie à perfectionner l'art de la fabrication de whisky en petites quantités et a continué à expérimenter différentes méthodes jusqu'à ce qu'il développe enfin ce qui allait être connu sous le nom de "Mr. Réserve spéciale de Clyde. La facture de purée du whisky se compose de maïs, de seigle et d'orge maltée, et est un mariage de bourbon de 5 et 6 ans de Heaven Hill qui a été vieilli dans de nouveaux fûts de chêne blanc carbonisés au caramel.
Notes de dégustation :
Couleur : Profonde, la couleur bronze scintillante avec une clarté parfaite.
Arôme : Les arômes généreux sont chargés de caramel riche, de fruits du verger séchés, de caramel anglais, de caramel au beurre, de noix de muscade, de notes de seigle épicé, d'érable et d'écorce d'orange confite.
Goût : La bouche est harmonieuse et homogène. Le profil de saveur éclate avec des fruits secs, de la sauge et du poivre noir offrant suffisamment de viscosité pour donner au whisky longueur et profondeur.
Finale : Finition soyeuse avec un accent complexe de poivre noir et des notes d'anis et de chêne grillé.

Delivery

If the recipient is unable to provide valid identification, the delivery will not be completed, and the products will be returned to For Whiskey Lovers.

Returns and Refunds
3.1. For Whiskey Lovers takes great care in packaging and delivering your order to ensure its quality and condition. In the event that you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect products, please contact our customer support within seven (7) days of delivery to request a return or exchange.
