After years of working with distilleries around the world to provide advice and fermentation products, they launched their premium craft distillery in 2012 with a focus on making the highest quality Bourbon, Rye Whiskey and Vodka. Founded by Shane Baker and Pat Heist the fermentation experts with more than 20 years of experience in the production of alcohol and some of the best brands on the market today. Their specialty is making unique spirits from locally-grown grains to ensure quality, and adding a healthy dose of science in the process.ÿ
About Barrel no. 752955:ÿ Spent about 4 years and 7 months on the 5 floor of the Rickhouse BE27.ÿ It was next to a window so it saw some of the greatest temp changes available in Central Kentucky. The #4 char on the barrel was able to work the rye white dog into the fine whiskey it is today.ÿ

Hits of spice on the front end. However it is by no means over spiced.ÿ ÿThe finish is very elegant with notes of dark chocolate on the palate.ÿ This is a Rye that will fool many. Put it in a tasting and wow some friends for most will think this drinks like a great bourbon. This whiskey would be a great whiskey to drink with dessert.ÿ

1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?
Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.
2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday only.

Please allow 1–2 business days for processing. During high-volume periods, such as holidays, processing may take up to 5 business days.

Saver shipping (where available) may take 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, with delivery typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.

Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the carriers.

We are unable to guarantee specific delivery dates.
3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?

Carriers will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.

Additional delivery attempts may require an extra delivery fee.

Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and all shipping charges.
4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?
Yes. Many of our products are fragile and heat-sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at our discretion.

5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?
No. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.
6. Do you ship bottles in original packaging?
Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.

7. What is your return policy?
Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.

If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, we will refund or replace it. Please email hello@forwhiskeylovers.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.
