The Singleton 17 Year 2025 Cask Strength Special Release
Crafted in the Highlands at Glen Ord, The Singleton 17 Year 2025 Cask Strength Special Release carries its origin proudly while venturing into daring new territory. Its blend of whisky finished in ex-mezcal and second-fill sherry casks creates an unexpected collision of spice, orchard fruit, and soft smoke. Notes of ginger, raisin, and warm vegetal tones unfold slowly, wrapped in a smooth, medium-to-full body that feels both familiar and thrillingly new.
Bottled at 55.5% ABV, this whisky opens with aromatic spice on the nose before drifting into a palate that’s sweet, lightly salted, and textured with a gentle mezcal edge. A long, savoury finish lingers with touches of white pepper, best enjoyed neat or with a small splash of water to reveal deeper layers.
This 17-year expression invites drinkers into a world of discovery where tradition meets experimentation, delivering a rich, evolving sip that stands as one of the boldest releases in the Horizons Unbound collection.
