Raising Glasses Whistler Rum hails from the heart of Venezuela, a country quietly gaining acclaim in the world of fine rum. This limited-edition release—just 324 half-sized bottles—has been aged 12 years in Venezuela before spending two more in the UK, a dual maturation that brings both tropical depth and European refinement. Distilled from molasses in a column still and bottled at a bold 62.1% ABV, it remains unfiltered and untouched by additives, preserving its pure, high-octane character. Though the exact distillery remains undisclosed, its pedigree is suggested by the growing global attention Venezuelan rums are receiving.

The flavor profile is an unapologetic feast—think of it as the "everything bagel" of the rum world. Notes of sea salt caramel and bitter mocha intermingle with warm baking spices, toasted oak, and a streak of citrus brightness. A hint of funky petrol adds an edgy complexity that lingers. While the cask strength offers a fiery kick, a splash of water opens up a more nuanced, luxurious sip, making it suitable for slow enjoyment neat or in elevated classic cocktails like a Rum Old Fashioned or Ti' Punch.

Inspired by the haunting Venezuelan folklore of the Whistler, this rum's label features striking art by Rezki and Bihanc, mirroring the spirit’s eerie mystique and cultural roots. Not just a collector's gem, Whistler Rum gives back—5% of profits support Venezuelan orphaned children and homeless animals through the South American Initiative. A bottle that drinks with intensity, tells a story, and makes a difference—Whistler Rum is a rare treasure for rum lovers and myth seekers alike.
