The roots of Kentucky Peerless Distilling Company date back to the late 1800s when Henry Kraver - an ancestor of the current owners ? built a thriving business distilling whiskey in Henderson, Kentucky. They would have continued operations had it not been for a temporary ban on distilling in World War I to preserve corn. Now owned by Corky Taylor and run by his son Carson and master distiller Caleb Kilburn, their Peerless Rye was named one of the top 20 Whiskies in the world in 2017.
Peerless Straight Rye Whiskey is a well balanced rye, bolstered by sweet tones of maple, brown sugar and light citrus sweetness. Finish with a hint of oak & no burn on the throat. Due to the carefully unique distilling process, Peerless offers a smooth taste that stands out from other ryes. A palatable sipping rye to be savored with friends and family. It?s a four-year-old that is bottled at 54.45% ABV, which cost more to make but yields a richer, fuller flavor resulting from no chill filtration, which also adds a lovely texture and mouth feel.

Aroma: Notes of fresh oak, banana, and corn followed by hints of vanilla, rye, pine, and anise.
Taste:ÿ Starts with a sweeter flavor profile before a spicy blast that envelops your mouth. Notes of brown sugar and vanilla followed by rye spice, oak, pepper, and a touch of peaches. Sweet and spicy flavors all wrapped into one.
Finish:ÿ Slightly dry and ever so tannic, corn and oak lead the way followed by leather, rye grain, and vanilla with lingering hints of new oak and dashes of smoke that stay present long after the sip ends.

1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?
Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.
2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?

Please allow 1–2 business days for processing. During high-volume periods, such as holidays, processing may take up to 5 business days.

Saver shipping (where available) may take 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, with delivery typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.

3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?

Carriers will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.

Additional delivery attempts may require an extra delivery fee.

Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and all shipping charges.
4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?
Yes. Many of our products are fragile and heat-sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at our discretion.

5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?

6. Do you ship bottles in original packaging?
Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.

7. What is your return policy?
Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.

If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, we will refund or replace it. Please email hello@forwhiskeylovers.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.
