Michter's US*1 Unblended American Whiskey (750mL)

Michter's US*1 American Whiskey is "unblended" as it contains "no grain neutral spirit". 

Interestingly, it isn't billed as a bourbon so it doesn't need to be in new barrels. Instead it is matured in bourbon-soaked barrels (that'll be previously used ones, then) to pick up on some of those delicious flavours to add to those it already has.

This whiskey is produced in small batches at 41.7% abv and in limited amounts. It was unavailable for some three years until 2013 when the Master Distiller reckoned the stock he had was then ready for sale which indicates that they're choosy about the quality of what they put in the bottle.

Deep butterscotch and vanilla notes, hints of caramel and dried fruit with a ripened fruit finish.
