Shipping & Return

From the distiller: "The folks here at the Maker's Mark Distillery have been handcrafting one thing, one way, since 1958. But, the fact is, innovation has been part of our heritage since Bill Samuels, Sr., first experimented with soft red winter wheat to create Maker's Mark? all those years ago. Well, curiosity finally got the best of us all over again. Not too long ago, while staying true to the craft and heritage of Maker's Mark, Master Distiller Kevin Smith began some lengthy "trial and error" to create something new and different. After more than a few failures and bad ideas, Kevin reached the conclusion that the foundation for any new whisky we create should ultimately be our original whiskey ? fully matured Maker's Mark. So, with the help of barrel maker Brad Boswell, Kevin started over. Together, they began even more experimentation, realizing that their new creation simply couldn't come from artificial flavors, but, instead, it had to come naturally from grains and wood.ÿ

Tasting Notes:

Aroma - Pleasant, sweet, toasty oak nose with caramel overtones. More intense aroma without an alcohol nose.

Taste - Rich, creamy seared-oak flavors; caramel and vanilla notes linger on the front of the palate, but it is still soft enough to hold on the tongue even at 94 proof.

Finish - A big mouth-watering oaky finish. Long with a little spice, staying forward on the palate without the bitter bite found in older whiskies.

ForWhiskeyLovers.com Shipping & Returns FAQ

1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?

Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.

2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?

  • Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday only.

  • Please allow 1–2 business days for processing. During high-volume periods, such as holidays, processing may take up to 5 business days.

  • Saver shipping (where available) may take 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, with delivery typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.

  • Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the carriers.

  • We are unable to guarantee specific delivery dates.

3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?

  • Carriers will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.

  • Additional delivery attempts may require an extra delivery fee.

  • Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and all shipping charges.

4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?

Yes. Many of our products are fragile and heat-sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at our discretion.

  • ForWhiskeyLovers.com is not responsible for damage caused by extreme weather once packages are in the hands of ground couriers.

5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?

No. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.

6. Do you ship bottles in original packaging?

Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.

  • If original packaging is required, please include a note on your order.

  • Additional shipping fees may apply for special packaging requests.

7. What is your return policy?

Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.

  • If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, we will refund or replace it. Please email hello@forwhiskeylovers.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.

  • All bottles are inspected before shipping.

  • Website images are for illustration purposes only. Product editions, batches, or packaging may vary unless specifically stated in the description.
