The Macallan No.6 continues the legend of The Macallan Master Whisky Makerās meticulous selection process. This sublime whisky is drawn from a single cask type, first-fill European oak sherry butts that were crafted in a single Spanish cooperage, Tevasa. This renowned cooperage painstakingly crafts casks that help provide an extremely rich and distinct single malt in the classic Macallan style, punctuated with a sumptuous combination of richness, spice and dried fruits.
The enticing dark mahogany colored whisky is encased in a statuesque Lalique decanter, made from the finest hand-blown crystal, to show off its deep natural color. The design of the decanter pays homage to The Macallanās provenance and heritage through the incorporation of the iconic triangular feature as a key element of its creation.
No.6 forms part of the 1824 Masters Series, an exclusive luxury range within The Macallan portfolio that charts a navigation through the supreme quality of The Macallanās unique sherry casks. All the whiskies in the range are painstakingly hand-selected by Master Whisky Maker, Bob Dalgarno, using first- fill 100% sherry-seasoned casks to showcase the beautiful spectrum of the 100% natural color. As the range progresses, the whiskies increase in intensity of flavor and color, as well as scarcity.
