Leadslingers is a whiskey from Scissortail Distillery in Moore, OK and its release is a collaboration with Article 15, a clothing company started by Veterans as a way to support their communityÿitsÿstruggles after returning to the country they have been selflessly protecting.
Leadslinger Bourbon Whiskey brings a light bourbon flavor from its single barrel aging process. Double distilled & handcrafted in Moore, Oklahoma - this small batch whiskey melds sophistication and down home flavors. Delivering hints of Oak, Toffee and Vanilla; It's sure to satisify even the most distinguishing taster.
Tasting Notes:
Color: Very pale gold
Nose: red fruit on the nose, like cherry or strawberry follwed by aging barrel notes ofÿ dry oak and vanilla.
Taste:ÿ sweet corn and notes including green apples, cinnamon, oak, and a little vanilla.
Finish: Hot withÿ big notes of apple and cinnamon, like sweet apple pie. The oak comes back to dry things up a bit, but not quite enough. As the cinnamon and oak subside, only sweet apple is left.

1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?
Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.
2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday only.

Please allow 1–2 business days for processing. During high-volume periods, such as holidays, processing may take up to 5 business days.

Saver shipping (where available) may take 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, with delivery typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.

Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the carriers.

We are unable to guarantee specific delivery dates.
3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?

Carriers will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.

Additional delivery attempts may require an extra delivery fee.

Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and all shipping charges.
4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?
Yes. Many of our products are fragile and heat-sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at our discretion.

5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?
No. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.
6. Do you ship bottles in original packaging?
Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.

7. What is your return policy?
Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.

If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, we will refund or replace it. Please email hello@forwhiskeylovers.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.
