Kilchoman 100% Islay 15th Edition rises from the rugged coastlines of Islay, produced entirely on the distillery’s own farm from barley grown, malted, distilled, matured, and bottled on site. This limited 9-year-old single malt is built from 54 ex-bourbon barrels using Concerto and Publican barley, capturing the island’s signature balance of peat and coastal freshness.

It opens with vanilla, tropical fruit, fresh hay, toasted oak, and a buttery, grassy lift. The palate moves into milk chocolate, salted caramel, bright citrus, ripe pear, gentle peat smoke, and a flicker of white pepper. A long finish follows, blending maritime peat, honeyed sweetness, and soft fruit.

Crafted from Islay barley and pure island ingredients, this whisky sits at around 20 ppm of peat and is best enjoyed neat to appreciate its farm-born character, or with a splash of water to open its citrus-rich aromatics. Limited to 13,000 bottles worldwide.

1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?

Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.

2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?

  • Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday only.

  • Please allow 1–2 business days for processing. During high-volume periods, such as holidays, processing may take up to 5 business days.

  • Saver shipping (where available) may take 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, with delivery typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.

  • Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the carriers.

  • We are unable to guarantee specific delivery dates.

3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?

  • Carriers will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.

  • Additional delivery attempts may require an extra delivery fee.

  • Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and all shipping charges.

4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?

Yes. Many of our products are fragile and heat-sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at our discretion.

  • ForWhiskeyLovers.com is not responsible for damage caused by extreme weather once packages are in the hands of ground couriers.

5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?

No. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.

6. Do you ship bottles in original packaging?

Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.

  • If original packaging is required, please include a note on your order.

  • Additional shipping fees may apply for special packaging requests.

7. What is your return policy?

Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.

  • If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, we will refund or replace it. Please email hello@forwhiskeylovers.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.

  • All bottles are inspected before shipping. 

  • Website images are for illustration purposes only. Product editions, batches, or packaging may vary unless specifically stated in the description.

  • Engraved or personalized bottles are non-refundable unless damaged. If returned after failed delivery attempts, refunds will not be issued, and customers will incur return shipping fees.

We may offer flat rate shipping to the following states:

For all other states we ship to (excluding Alaska and Hawaii), the flat rate cost may be higher.

2. Do you ship to all U.S. states?

No. Due to local laws and carrier restrictions, we are unable to ship alcohol to the following states:

3. Are there exceptions to the flat rate shipping?

Yes. Flat rate shipping may not apply to certain ZIP codes within states we serve, due to higher carrier delivery rates in those areas.
