High West Bourye Straight Whiskey comes from the rugged landscapes of Park City, Utah, a place known for its adventurous spirit and love of blending tradition with a bit of frontier whimsy. Bourye is a rare marriage of bourbon and rye, each whiskey aged at least ten years before being carefully blended into this unique creation. It draws inspiration from the legendary jackalope, a creature as mysterious as the deep flavors found in this bottle. With an ABV of 46%, Bourye is designed for slow sipping under the stars or around a crackling fire.

On the nose, Bourye welcomes you with the inviting aroma of Honeycrisp apples, caramelized peaches, and homemade waffles drizzled with honey butter, layered with notes of bergamot, toasted almonds, and dark chocolate truffles tucked into an old wooden chest. The palate follows through with decadent flavors of maple-glazed doughnuts, salted crème brûlée, candied orange peel, and chicory, rounded by the comforting warmth of English breakfast tea and seasoned oak. The finish is bright yet mellow, lingering with fresh yellow nectarines and a softly building rye spice that leaves you reaching for another sip.

Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to open up its full complexity, Bourye thrives without the distraction of ice. Each glass offers a sensory experience that feels almost mythical, much like the jackalope itself. Whether you’re sitting by a campfire or simply savoring a quiet evening, High West Bourye Straight Whiskey promises a memorable encounter with every pour.

ForWhiskeyLovers.com Shipping & Returns FAQ

1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?

Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.

2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?

  • Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday only.

  • Please allow 1–2 business days for processing. During high-volume periods, such as holidays, processing may take up to 5 business days.

  • Saver shipping (where available) may take 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, with delivery typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.

  • Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the carriers.

  • We are unable to guarantee specific delivery dates.

3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?

  • Carriers will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.

  • Additional delivery attempts may require an extra delivery fee.

  • Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and all shipping charges.

4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?

Yes. Many of our products are fragile and heat-sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at our discretion.

  • ForWhiskeyLovers.com is not responsible for damage caused by extreme weather once packages are in the hands of ground couriers.

5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?

No. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.

Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.

  • If original packaging is required, please include a note on your order.

  • Additional shipping fees may apply for special packaging requests.

7. What is your return policy?

Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.

  • If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, we will refund or replace it. Please email hello@forwhiskeylovers.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.

  • All bottles are inspected before shipping.

  • Website images are for illustration purposes only. Product editions, batches, or packaging may vary unless specifically stated in the description.
