Hamilton Florida Rum Society Blend
Hamilton Florida Rum Society Blend is a limited-edition rum born from a collaboration between master rum blender Ed Hamilton and the Florida Rum Society. Crafted in Florida, it blends rums from St. Augustine Distillery and Drum Circle Distilling, incorporating techniques and traditions that highlight the region's rum-making heritage. Aged for up to three years in ex-bourbon barrels, this rum also features a touch of overproof Jamaican rum from Worthy Park Estate, lending it an added layer of complexity.
This rum delivers a rich tapestry of flavors. On the nose, you'll discover molasses, brown sugar, and ripe banana, intertwined with vanilla, oak, and a hint of tropical spice. The palate is full-bodied and indulgent, offering notes of caramel, toffee, dark chocolate, and coffee, complemented by dried fruits and nutmeg. A warming finish lingers with toasted oak, baking spices, and a subtle smokiness, evoking the coastal character of its origins.
Hamilton Florida Rum Society Blend is versatile in its appeal. Enjoy it neat or over ice to savor its layered flavors, or use it in cocktails to add depth and complexity. Its robust character pairs beautifully with rich, spicy dishes, making it an excellent companion for evenings of indulgence. This rum is a testament to Florida's evolving rum craft, skillfully balanced to please both enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
