A remarkably well-priced addition to the Glenfarclas range, this 40 year-old has been simply-packaged in line with the rest of the standard bottlings from the distillery, and has been bottled at the perfect drinking strength of 46%. A 40yo sherried Speyside designed for drinking rather than sitting on a mantlepiece or in a display cabinet - bravo.
This spectacular new Glenfarclas 40 Years Old was bottled in March 2010, and launched during the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2010. The whisky is not only is it absolutely astonishing, it is also amazing value for money, offering all of the sherried Glenfarclas character and exceptional maturity too.ÿ
It was awarded a score of 95/100 by the Malt Advocate magazine, and a very well-merited Gold Medal at the Malt Maniacs Awards 2010.

Tasting Notes
Color: Rich dark mysterious Gold
Aroma: Antique leather, walnuts and chocolate covered raisins.
Palate: A sweet initial taste, orange segments, chocolate. Then a lovely flavour of burnt brown sugar.
Finish: The dry finish oozes big tannins and more rich dark cocoa beans. Let the whisky breathe a little or add a drop or two of water to fully open up the dram.

Delivery

If the recipient is unable to provide valid identification, the delivery will not be completed, and the products will be returned to For Whiskey Lovers.

Returns and Refunds
3.1. For Whiskey Lovers takes great care in packaging and delivering your order to ensure its quality and condition. In the event that you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect products, please contact our customer support within seven (7) days of delivery to request a return or exchange.
3.2. Refunds or replacements will be processed at For Whiskey Lovers' discretion after evaluating the nature of the issue. We may request additional information or photographic evidence to facilitate the return process.
