Far North Roknar Minnesota Rye Whiskey (750mL)

The Scandinavian name Roknar means Warrior from the gods in ancient Norse.  While the legendary Viking Ragnar Lodbrok may or may not have actually existed, his reputation throughout Europe as a hero and true bad-ass seems to endure nonetheless.

Tasting Notes:

Color: a deep amber with vibrant orange notes.

Aroma: notes of sourdough, freshly-cut oak, copy paper, and underripe red berries.

Taste: An immediate sense of balance between viscous sweetness, oak, alcohol heat, and earth tone huskiness.  Undertones of vanilla-tinged caramel,

Finish: lingering, biting mouthfeel.
