Defiant American Single Malt Whisky is produced by Blue Ridge Distillers of Golden Valley, North Carolina. The distillery is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and their water is drawn from an aquifer right under the distillery. But that?s where conventional distilling ends. What happens next is uniquely Defiant.
The crew behind the stills are salvage divers by trade. They run towards certain disaster and change fate with metal, fire, water and intellect. Their whisky is created by those same virtues.
Defiant revolutionizes the process by taking the best of Scottish tradition and combining it with American ingenuity. They begin with the finest ingredients and finish with a new kind of spirit.
Defiant is a new way of distilling, not bound by barrels or recipes or tradition. They use the best ingredients, Mother Nature and intuition. They only use four ingredients. Nothing more. Start with quality, end with quality.
BARLEY: Two-row premium malted brewer?s barley. More flavor, better notes. Cracked on a custom roller mill. This is where their single malt begins.
OAK MATURATION: Their proprietary aging process is far more efficient than barrels. They use cuts of hand selected premium American white oak, toasted to perfection. How old is it? Take a sip, then take a guess.
YEAST: Mash into whisky. Fermentation is the most important part of the process. And Blue Ridge wouldn?t trust their whisky with anything but the finest.
WATER: The owners of Blue Ridge Distillery found their water source before they built the distillery that sits upon it. From the peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the glass in your hand, their water is pure. Nothing added. No filtering needed.

1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?
Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.
2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday only.

Please allow 1–2 business days for processing. During high-volume periods, such as holidays, processing may take up to 5 business days.

Saver shipping (where available) may take 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, with delivery typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.

Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the carriers.

3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?

Carriers will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.

Additional delivery attempts may require an extra delivery fee.

Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and all shipping charges.
4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?
Yes. Many of our products are fragile and heat-sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at our discretion.

5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?

6. Do you ship bottles in original packaging?
Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.

7. What is your return policy?
Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.

If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, we will refund or replace it. Please email hello@forwhiskeylovers.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.
