Grown in partnership with the Agronomy Institute of Orkney College, this whisky celebrates Bere barley, a resilient and genetically diverse crop that has shaped Scottish agriculture for centuries. Distilled in 2013 and aged for 10 years on the shores of Islay, it showcases the unique terroir and traditional craftsmanship that define Bruichladdich's progressive spirit.

The whisky boasts a luminous golden hue and a nose brimming with warm citrus, tropical fruit, and sweet malty flour, evolving into fragrant peach skin, vanilla pods, and candied orange. On the palate, the malted Bere barley takes center stage, delivering a soft and rounded mouthfeel with notes of brown sugar, apricot, and melon, balanced by hints of vanilla, coconut, and marzipan from its maturation in first-fill bourbon barrels and second-fill Pauillac wine casks. 1. Do I need to be home to sign for my order?

Yes. Federal law requires an adult signature (21+ years old) for all alcohol deliveries. Couriers will check ID at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, the package may be returned. No exceptions can be made.

2. How long does it take to process and ship my order?

  • Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday only.

  • Please allow 1–2 business days for processing. During high-volume periods, such as holidays, processing may take up to 5 business days.

  • Saver shipping (where available) may take 5–7 days to receive local carrier tracking, with delivery typically 5–7 business days after tracking is assigned.

  • Ground shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed by the carriers.

  • We are unable to guarantee specific delivery dates.

3. What happens if delivery is unsuccessful?

  • Carriers will attempt delivery three times before returning the order.

  • Additional delivery attempts may require an extra delivery fee.

  • Orders returned due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or recipient refusal will be refunded minus a 20% restocking fee and all shipping charges.

4. Can shipments be delayed due to weather?

Yes. Many of our products are fragile and heat-sensitive. To prevent heat or freeze damage, shipments may be delayed at our discretion.

  • ForWhiskeyLovers.com is not responsible for damage caused by extreme weather once packages are in the hands of ground couriers.

5. Can you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or freight forwarders?

No. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.

6. Do you ship bottles in original packaging?

Not always. Bottles are not guaranteed to arrive in original packaging unless specifically requested.

  • If original packaging is required, please include a note on your order.

  • Additional shipping fees may apply for special packaging requests.

7. What is your return policy?

Due to state regulations, alcohol returns are only accepted if the product is spoiled.

  • If a bottle is significantly damaged during transit, we will refund or replace it. Please email hello@forwhiskeylovers.com with photos of the damaged product and packaging.

  • All bottles are inspected before shipping. 

  • Website images are for illustration purposes only. Product editions, batches, or packaging may vary unless specifically stated in the description.

  • Engraved or personalized bottles are non-refundable unless damaged. If returned after failed delivery attempts, refunds will not be issued, and customers will incur return shipping fees.

3. Are there exceptions to the flat rate shipping?
