Hazelburn Distillery holds a unique position within the Scotch whisky industry, known for producing a triple-distilled, unpeated malt whisky in the Campbeltown region of Scotland. Founded in 1825 by the Reid family, Hazelburn Distillery has a rich history steeped in tradition and innovation. Originally known as Rieclachan Distillery, it underwent several changes in ownership and name over the years before being acquired by J&A Mitchell & Company, the owners of nearby Springbank Distillery, in the 1920s.
