    Aroma: Bakery sweets in the form of chocolate chip cookie, vanilla bean scone, confectioners’ sugar, and Nutella, along with fresh garden herbs and red apple

      Subtlety very much optional.

      Incredibly hot, powerful dram out of the bottle, delivers about every descriptor one has ever seen applied to bourbon. Proceed with caution. From there, each drop of water dials down the intensity and spotlights the various threads of the tapestry. Really sophisticated stuff -- if you're getting bored with basic American whiskey profile, this will get your radar spinning again.
