"Bushmills Malt 16 Year Old reift 16 Jahre lang in einer Kombination aus amerikanischen Eichenfässern (die dem Whisky typischerweise Vanillenoten verleihen) und spanischen Oloroso-Sherryfässern (die reichhaltige Früchte und Nüsse beisteuern).
