Stronachie was the name of a Highland distillery active between the 1890s and 1928. The Scottish agents for the whisky, A.D. Rattray, have launched a range using whisky from Benrinnes distillery. This is the 18 year old - a malty and honeyed malt.
Aroma: Strong honey and heather. Intense malt with hints of spice and lemon.
Palate: Full-bodied, robust and oily-smooth. Malted biscuits with rich honey then lingering pepper and spice.
Finish: Rich and complex.
