A limited edition, natural cask strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Linkwood Distillery, an active distillery in Speyside. Rarely available as a single malt from the original distillers and the first for 8 years. A delightfully clean, elegant and light whisky—the epitome of Speyside finesse. Displays typical fresh fruit and floral characteristics, with a wonderful elegance and complexity on the palate.

Color:  Full gold

Nose:  Soft, takes time to open up but then fills out to present delicate fresh-fruit notes; a sweet, clean fruit salad including honeydew melon, grape, mandarin zest, apple and pear over a base of fudge.

Body:  Medium

Taste:  First, generous smooth texture: fruity and sweet, then warming and tart with baked apple on the palate. Appetizing dryness develops, with black tea, offset by rum and raisin ice cream, lime and waxy vanilla. Finally some ginger, clove and a little salt.
