Classic Pure Pot Still Whiskey
If you want to try a classic Irish pot still whiskey for an affordable price, this is the one. Smooth, floral, delicious!
My favorite Iris
If I can't afford my favorite Scotch (Glendronach) at $100.00 a bottle, I'm more than happy to grab a Redbreast at half the price. I also pefer the 12-year over the 15-year which is out of character for me as I usualy go for the older whskies.
I must say that this whiskey is fantastic and I really can't wait to taste the cask strength version.
Sweet caramel, apples, dough on the nose
Taste: Smooth, hints of vanilla, dark chocolate, pears, caramel
Finish: mild, baked pie, and honey
Trip to Seattle
Discovered this on a trip to Seattle with a client at a dive whiskey bar. What a treat.
The Only Irish Whiskey that my wife likes. Gentle vanilla and caramel notes, probably form the sherry finish, smooth this one out. Probably tyhe smoothes whiskey that still packs a punch.
