Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy Irish Single Malt Whiskey

Midleton's Barry Crockett edition was named after the distillery's master distiller, and it is aged in both bourbon and new American oak barrels. Limited release of around 2,500 bottles per year.

Opens with soft, sweet honey and citrus aromas followed by vanilla and toffee flavors. Rich, creamy finish with subtle cinnamon notes.

Whiskey Review:

Like the man himself, this is altogether more considered and elegant, mixing whiskeys up to 25 years old for a complex and less bruising experience than the Powers. Instead, lemon and lime zest, kumquat, and blood orange entwine themselves around vanilla, nutmeg, and soft, drying tannins. No big knockout punches, but it goes the distance and wins unanimously and easily on points.

Everybody Immediate Favorite Irish

I haven't served Midleton's to any whiskey lover who hasn't completely enjoyed it. A bit expensive but worth every penny!
