The 21 Year Single Malt is unique for its marriage of 2 single malts, distilled from copper stills then matured in bourbon casks. The first one aged for 23 years, casked in 1994 and the other aged for 21 years, casked in 1996, before finding each other and joining in a more perfect union.
On the palate, this whiskey is soft and mellow but with depth and complexity due to the long maturation period in the oak casks. There is a malty sweetness that is consistent throughout, and a lingering finish of delicate barley. The combination of these two unique vintages is a match made in heaven!
